Day 7

Had an interesting night to say the least, but so happy that I made it home in enough time to post my blog tonight.... phew!!


Daily Practice Session

Technical Concepts - Lips trills, yogi bear, goo, and baby cries,  with a variety of scales... several different breathing techniques, chest voice, middle voice, head voice.
Minutes - 30 minutes

Repertoire - Sara Bareilles Gravity and Many the Miles and Don Henley The Heart of the Matter
Minutes – 20 minutes 



Successes – Beginning to feel more confident with warmups and songs. Felt good to sing The Heart of the Matter again.

Areas for improvement – Lost focus on remaining loose during lip trills, so used hands to push cheeks up during exercise. 

Notes: Have noticed it's harder to dedicate/find time that's not super early in the morning to warm up my voice now that I am working a full time job. It's an interesting/healthy challenge.
